Accessibility

We are committed to digital accessibility for people of all abilities and limitations. Our aim is to give everyone equal access to information and functionality.

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and the Swiss Disability Discrimination Act and its associated ordinance.

Our website offers the following accessibility features:

• “Skip to content” link as the first element on every page
• Keyboard operation with a clearly visible focus outline
• Colour contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 for text, checked with the axe-core testing tool
• Respects the “Reduce motion” system setting: animations are then turned off
• Page language correctly declared in German, French and English
• Zoom up to 400% without loss of content, adapted to all screen sizes
• Dialogs such as the cookie settings keep the focus and can be closed with Esc
• Sufficiently large click targets of at least 24 × 24 pixels

The website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.2 at level AA. Automated testing of all pages with axe-core found no errors in October 2026. The limitations listed below only concern the interactive demonstrations.

We are aware of the following limitations:

• The interactive demo applications (for example the till system, helpdesk or practice phone) are demonstrations. They can be operated by keyboard but are only partly usable with screen readers. The same information is also provided as text on the page.
• Some labels inside these demonstrations are very small because they show real screens at a reduced size.

We aim to respond within three working days.

We test the website ourselves against WCAG 2.2: automatically with the axe-core testing tool and manually using the keyboard. We repeat this test with every major change.
