Privacy policy
Your privacy matters to us. Here we explain clearly which personal data we process, for what purpose and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for processing your personal data in connection with this website is:
Qalvora, Hasan Balci (Owner)
Johann-Verresius-Strasse 17, 2502 Biel/Bienne, Switzerland
Email: info@qalvora.ch
Phone: 079 174 73 36
2. Principles and legal basis
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) of 25 September 2020 and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). With this statement we inform you in accordance with Art. 19 FADP. We only process the data needed to operate this website, provide our services and answer your enquiries.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. We process it on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract or on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website.
We do not make any automated individual decisions within the meaning of Art. 21 FADP and do not create personality profiles.
3. Hosting with Cloudflare
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare delivers the pages through a worldwide network of data centres so that they load quickly. Visitors from Switzerland are usually served from data centres in Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe. Cloudflare also protects the website against attacks and abuse.
When you visit the website, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data sent by your browser, in particular:
- IP address of the accessing device
- Date and time of access
- Page or file accessed
- Browser type, version and operating system
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
This data is needed to deliver the website, fend off attacks and fix errors. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short time. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf (as a processor). More in Cloudflare’s privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
4. Disclosure abroad
Some of our service providers are based abroad or process data there:
- Cloudflare (hosting): USA and data centres worldwide, usually in Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe for visitors from Switzerland
- Resend (sending the form emails): USA
- WhatsApp (Meta): Ireland, and also the USA
The Federal Council has recognised an adequate level of data protection for EU states. For the USA, this applies to companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, such as Cloudflare and Meta. Where this is not the case, we rely on standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) (Art. 16(2) FADP).
5. Contacting us (form, email, phone, WhatsApp)
When you contact us via the contact form, by email, by phone or via WhatsApp, we process your details (for example name, email address, phone number, company and your message) in order to answer your enquiry.
Enquiries sent via the contact form are delivered to us by email. We do not pass on your details to third parties without your consent and delete them as soon as they are no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.
To send the form emails we use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Resend processes the details from the form only to deliver them to us by email and acts on our behalf. More in Resend’s privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta). If you write to us via WhatsApp, its privacy policy also applies. The WhatsApp button on this website is a simple link: no data is sent to WhatsApp until you click it.
More in WhatsApp’s privacy policy: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea.
6. Cookies and storage on your device
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not use any analytics services. We only store your settings in your browser’s local storage. This information never leaves your device:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| qalvora-cookie-consent | Your choice in the cookie notice | until you delete or change it |
If we use statistics or external content (for example maps or videos) in the future, we will only activate them with your prior consent. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page or delete it in your browser.
7. Fonts and external content
The font used on this website (Inter) is stored directly on our server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you visit. The website currently does not embed any maps, videos or social media content.
8. Providing our services
As part of our services (for example websites, automation or custom software), we only process the data entered by you or your users in order to provide the agreed service. Where we process personal data on your behalf, we set out the details in a separate data processing agreement.
9. Disclosure to third parties and processors
We only pass on your personal data if this is necessary to perform a contract, you have consented or we are legally required to do so. For our services we use carefully selected providers, for example Cloudflare for hosting and Hostpoint AG (Switzerland) for our email. They only process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to confidentiality.
10. Retention and deletion
We only keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose concerned or as required by statutory retention periods (for example in accounting). After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
11. Your rights
Under the FADP you have in particular the right of access (Art. 25 FADP), the right to receive or transfer your data (Art. 28 FADP) and the right to have your data corrected and deleted and to object to the processing (Art. 32 FADP). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
An informal message to the contact named in section 1 is sufficient. Access is generally free of charge and provided within 30 days. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and file a report there (www.edoeb.admin.ch).
12. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS), as shown by the padlock in your browser’s address bar.
13. External links
Our website contains links to other websites. Their operators are responsible for their content and data protection. Data is only sent to the other provider once you click such a link.
14. Changes
We update this privacy policy when our website, our services or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
